A Leaf Blowing In The Wind (a poem)

A LEAF BLOWING IN THE WIND

a poem

I sat bewildered on river bank,
Into the abyss of guilt I sank,
Trees were dancing in a rhythm unplanned, I turned and saw a beautiful thing,
A leaf blowing in the wind.

Seeing the leafage myself I told,
It gives a message precious than gold.
Tree abandons when leaves grow old, with man the world does similar skim,
as A leaf blowing in the wind.

Why then worry so much for this world?
Which itself is feeble and mortal.
Where are the souls of buried skulls? In heaven or wandering like this thing?
A leaf blowing in the wind.

Everyday thousands are blownaway,
Thousands or more are thrown today.
Tomorrow is mine or yours day to fly away like which flies without wings,
A leaf blowing in the wind.
